Mothers Day Messages (Quotes)
My Love My Mommy!!
You kissed on my chicks,
You hugged me when I needed,
You helped me laugh when I was down,
You are the only and only one, who is always around,
I felt so comforted when you wrapped me all around,
You are the one, who helped me deal through my wounds,
I cannot tell you Mommy why my heart feels so sound,
It’s only you, who is the reason for all the happiness that I found,
I was a kid and I remember how you helped me through,
When Daddy scolded me, you protected me, and it’s true,
Ohh Goshhh!! How would I be able to pay it off?
Let me tell you Mommy, if ever,
I would be asked to define Love, I would tell your name,
Love for me is my Gorgeous Mommy!!
The beauty of love I found in you,
The duty of my life I found in you,
Anything and everything I learned from you,
The Opulent prowess of your heart,
The justifiable cockiness of your mind,
Everything, I think of, makes me feel lucky to be born from you,
My Mommy, The Hero of My life!
Ohh!! My wonderful Mommy,
I am your sweet little Tommy,
I love when, you bring me close,
I love when you comfort me through my hushed and perfunctory voice,
I love when you fiddle with my hair,
The way you feed me,
The way you read me,
Even with the Sun blazing in the sky,
The shade of your love,
Gives me the courage to try,
Try, Everything that has made me feel so dry,
You have incredible power,
That all fulfils my desire,
Your faith in me, kicks ups with the fire,
I cannot think of a life without you,
Because, in the blink of an eye,
You banish all my blues,
It’s amazingly true,
Mom, I want to be always like you,
A part of you,
We rock together, me and you,
You are an angel,
My World is beautiful,
When there’s somebody like you,
I sometimes, wonder,
Where from you get that courage
Where from you get that energy,
You wake up before me,
You help me in getting ready,
I feel as if, you are the God’s robot,
You are equipped with all the features,
So truly true,
Mommy, I would never have been able,
Able to be what I am today,
The person I am today,
It’s all because of you,
You are the powerhouse of energy,
I love you Mom, Today, Tomorrow and always!!
M - O - T - H - E - R
"
M" is for the million things she gave me,
"
O" means only that she's growing old,
"
T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"
H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"
E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"
R" means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell
"
MOTHER,"
A word that means the world to me.
Howard Johnson (c. 1915)
Only One Mother
Hundreds of stars in the pretty sky,
Hundreds of shells on the shore together,
Hundreds of birds that go singing by,
Hundreds of lambs in the sunny weather.
Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But only one mother the world wide over.
Before I was a Mom
Before I was a Mom -
I slept as late as I wanted and never worried about how late I got into
bed. I brushed my hair and my teeth everyday.
Before I was a Mom -
I cleaned my house each day. I never tripped over toys or forgot words
to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I
never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never been puked on - Pooped on - Spit on - Chewed on, or Peed
on. I had complete control of my mind and My thoughts. I slept all
night.
Before I was a Mom -
I never held down a screaming child so that doctors could do tests...or
give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got
gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom -
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put it down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop
the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life
so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I
would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't
know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that
bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so
small could make me feel so important.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to
make sure all was okay. I had never known The warmth, The joy, The love,
The heartache, The wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I
didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.
Wonderful Mother
God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And He moulded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And He gave that dear mother to me.
Pat O'Reilly
And Grandma's too...
While we honor all our mothers
with words of love and praise.
While we tell about their goodness
and their kind and loving ways.
We should also think of Grandma,
she's a mother too, you see....
For she mothered my dear mother
as my mother mothers me.

Mother's Love
Her love is like
an island in life's ocean,
vast and wide
A peaceful, quiet shelter
From the wind, the rain, the tide.
'Tis bound on the north by Hope,
By Patience on the West,
By tender Counsel on the South
And on the East by Rest.
Above it like a beacon light
Shine Faith, and Truth, and Prayer;
And thro' the changing scenes of life
I find a haven there.
